Ginger Lemon Honey Tea

  • 1 cup water

  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)

Instructions:

  1.  Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.

  2. Once boiling, add the sliced ginger and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

  3. Remove the pot from heat and strain the tea to remove the ginger slices.

  4. Add the fresh lemon juice and honey. Stir well until the honey dissolves.

  5. Pour the tea into a cup, and add a lemon slice and fresh mint if desired.
