Mississippi Mud Potatoes are a tasty spin on a well-loved recipe. This dish mixes smooth potatoes with rich tastes that’ll make your mouth water. Great for family get-togethers or chill dinners, these potatoes are definitely going to wow you.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1.  Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and dice the potatoes. Cook them in boiling water until tender, then drain.
  3. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, bacon, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, salt, and pepper. Mix in the cooked potatoes until well-coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  5.  Let it cool slightly before serving.
