- 1 cup water or milk (or a mix of both)

Mix the rolled oats, water or milk, and a pinch of salt in a microwave-safe bowl.
Place the bowl in the microwave and cook on high for 2-3 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent it from boiling over.
