Method
- Mix the rolled oats, water or milk, and a pinch of salt in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Place the bowl in the microwave and cook on high for 2-3 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent it from boiling over.
- Carefully remove the bowl (it might be hot!) and stir the oatmeal well. If it’s too thick, add a bit more liquid and microwave for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Once it’s at your desired consistency, add your favourite toppings like fresh fruit, nuts, honey, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
