Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly. You can peel them if you prefer, but the skin gets nice and crispy when cooked.
Cut the sweet potatoes into wedges or rounds, about 1/2-inch thick.
In a bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil or melted butter and a pinch of salt
Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
Place the sweet potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Garnish with sesame seeds or fresh herbs if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
