Paula Deen Corn Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (15 1/4 ounce) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can (14 3/4 ounce) cream-style corn
  • 1 (8 oz) package corn muffin mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup (1 stick) melted butter
  • 1 cup medium shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the two cans of corn, corn muffin mix, sour cream, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and top with a generous amount of cheddar cheese.
  6. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Let stand for at least 5 minutes before serving.
