Method
Prepare the Beef and Radish:
- In a large pot, add the beef pieces and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and add the sliced radish. Cook for about 15 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, fish sauce, and kosher salt to the pot. Simmer for another 25 minutes, or until the beef is tender.
Finish and Serve:
- Stir in the sesame oil and sliced green onions. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and ladle the soup into bowls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
