Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and chopped)
- 2–3 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
- 1–2 tbsp water (if needed for thinning)
Instructions:
- Prepare Strawberries: Wash, hull (remove stems), and roughly chop the strawberries.
- Cook (Optional for Thicker Puree):
- In a small saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until strawberries soften and release juices.
- (For a raw version, skip cooking and blend directly.)
- Blend: Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- Add a little water (1–2 tbsp) if too thick for the desired consistency.
- Strain (Optional): For a seed-free puree, strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing with a spoon.
- Cool & Store: Let it cool before using. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.

- Drinks: Mix into lemonade, smoothies, or cocktails.
